Sprayer work process analysis
1. The two wires behind the arc spray gun must not touch each other.
2. It should be kept clean and tidy within the spraying range of the spray gun. There should not be any extra pipeline on the ground. This is to ensure easy movement of the spray gun and wire feeder.
3. Excessively long pipelines (such as cable lines, gas pipelines, etc.) connected to the sprayer should be kept as far away as possible from the spraying workpiece and should not be coiled to reduce the volume.
4. As long as the gun nozzle has compressed air sprayed out, there will be a spraying voltage on the two cable wires of the gun. The operator must be careful not to overhaul the gun.
5. The arc sprayer has set up more than two spray switches to facilitate spraying operations. These switches facilitate spraying, but they also cause trouble for operators. Some of their relationships are in parallel and some are in tandem. Anyway, we only have to do “where it is open and where it is closed”. When sprayer control fails, we should first check the position of the switch one by one so that it is in an open position.
6. Determination of spraying parameters
* The relationship between voltage and current (feeding speed).
In arc spraying, the spraying voltage and the spraying current are two independent parameters (ignoring fine problems). Wire feed speed (voltage) is proportional to the size of the spray current. The wire feeding speed is high and the spraying current is large. At this time, the spraying voltage will decrease slightly, and the number of drops depends on the power of the power transformer, generally 1 to 3V.
* The thickness of the coated particles. To spray fine particles
a. The air pressure is high, generally above 0.55Mpa. This refers to the air pressure during the spraying process.
b. The wire feed speed is slow. Of course, it is too slow and the spraying efficiency is not high. The arcing of spraying will not be normal.
c. The intersection of the two wires is not too far from the plane of the air cap, generally 2 to 3 mm. But too close will produce a screaming and cannot spray normally.
 
One of the above conditions cannot be met, and the ejected particles will be coarse.
